Steel Fabrication for the Energy Transition

Turkey's energy sector is undergoing rapid diversification, with wind, solar and conventional generation capacity expanding side by side to meet rising industrial and grid demand. This transition places heavy and precision steel fabrication at the center of nearly every project: wind farms need structurally certified nacelle and tower-adjacent components plus tooling fixtures for blade manufacturing; solar installations require weatherproof inverter and switchgear enclosures engineered to IP and IEC standards; and conventional generation assets depend on robust generator housings, genset canopies and structural steelwork built to demanding duty cycles. As an ISO-certified manufacturer based in İzmir, KREA Makina supports EPC contractors, OEMs and utility operators across this full spectrum, combining heavy-plate fabrication with the dimensional precision that rotating and electrical equipment demands.

KREA's energy-sector deliverables span wind-turbine component structures and blade-tooling fixtures used in composite manufacturing, solar inverter cabinets and GES switchgear housings, generator cabinets and genset acoustic canopies, alternator components and mounting frames, and a broad range of electrical and control enclosures. Each assembly is engineered from initial CAD/CAM modeling through CNC laser and plasma cutting, press-brake forming, robotic and manual welding, to final machining and surface finishing — allowing KREA to deliver both one-off prototype tooling and volume production runs from a single facility. Sheet steel, structural steel, stainless steel and aluminium are all processed in-house, giving customers a single source for mixed-material assemblies that combine structural strength with corrosion resistance where outdoor or coastal exposure is a factor.

Because much of this equipment operates outdoors or in exposed switchyards, KREA fabricates enclosures and cabinets to specific IP ratings (IP54, IP65) with gasketed doors, cable-gland plates and ventilation engineered for the application, then finishes them with powder coating for long-term corrosion resistance and consistent RAL color matching. Every assembly is dimensionally inspected and, where required, leak- and paint-thickness tested before shipment, with full material traceability and documentation supplied against ASME, IEC, IEEE and API reference standards. This combination of heavy fabrication capability and precision enclosure manufacturing lets KREA serve wind, solar and conventional generation projects from a single, ISO-certified supply chain.
